So yesterday we went snowboarding and everyone was having a super fun time. Yes it was a bit crowded because of college night but cheap tickets are cheap tickets and I am a poor college student. So everything is going well and I'm down by the fire warming up my toes and my boy and his friend come over and we all put our boards against the railing and the four of us head back to the car to grab some drinks (because lodge prices are crazy) and we leave our one friend with the boards to watch. We come back and he had gone inside for two seconds to grab a beer and my boy's snowboard has been stolen. Brand new, ridden twice, $450 plus $250 bindings, and a brand new stomp pad courtesy of my mother on christmas all gone. Someone just walked over and took his board and it's gone. We filed a police report but it's just gone. I don't understand! What kind of person steals! Stealingis immoral in every culture across the planet. Who the hell just up and takes someone else's stuff! How do you live with yourself! Whoever you are thief, I hope your car gets hit by a snow plow someone steals your wallet. Now my poor boy is all upset and doesn't want to board for the rest of the season because he was so excited to finally have had enough money to buy a new dream board that was perfect for terrain. He is upset, wants to give up his hobby, and wants to be a recluse all winter destroying the fun new years we had planned! So thank you very much you stupid thief!
But on the bright side I went on a kittycat rescue mission and have been braving the 30+ inches of snow to feed the stray cat trapped under our deck. You will survive Boots! (That's what we named him) You will survive!
That is the death snow and ice on my deck
So, since I've done nothing but be in snow since Sunday, my nose has sounded a revolt and is stuffy and runny and gross and I don't want to move because my head is bigger than the moon so I think I'll lay on the floor and do leg lifts and crunches all day instead of going into the snow yet again to attempt to make it to the gym.
